What are the best things to do in Kisumu?

How do I get to Rusinga, Mfangano and Takawiri islands?

From Kisumu, drive to Homa Bay County (about 2.5 hours) and on to Mbita. Rusinga Island is linked to Mbita by a causeway; Mfangano and Takawiri are reached by boat. Our Into the Islands package covers all transport and boat transfers.

What is special about Mfangano Island?

Mfangano is known for its ancient rock art sites, Abasuba culture and fishing villages, set against the open waters of Lake Victoria.

Does Takawiri Island have a beach?
